Arduino UNO 162u2 Firmware flashing | Using 'FLIP' Softwear

𝐈𝐟 𝐮 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟔𝐮𝟐/𝟖𝐮𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭-𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐝𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐔𝐍𝐎 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮.


For flash 16u2 microchip firmware you need to two files :

1. 16u2 firmware file 

2. "Flip" Software for flashing

STEP - 1

Go to any web browser - [Like chrome, Microsoft edge]. Then search your microchip latest hex file [In my case I want to flash Arduino UNO rev3]"arduino-usbserial-atmega16u2-uno-rev3.hex"

To download the HEX file, opening the Github repository see the upper right corner there is an option 'RAW', click the 'RAW' button, then a new tab opening after that press 'Ctrl+S' from the keyboard and there will be a save as pop up the save the file name as per shown in the third image and don't forget to put .hex extension. Now the hex code is ready.













STEP - 2

Download the  Atmel "FLIP" software.

PROTEUS crashed and all error Solved

If you have facing Proteus software crashing or any other error or license not found problems then this post for you. Solution At first, go to the given link below and download the file. Link :  https://mega.nz/folder/5oR2RJAL#KVOm2lc4_Jfio97N6_4MTQ      If you download the Proteus Software before, then at first uninstall and delete its all files follow the steps below ---- Go to Control Panel - Programs [Uninstall a program] - and uninstall the proteus its take 2-4 mins. Press win+R and type ' regedit.exe '  Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -  click SOFTWARE - click WOW6432Node    After that find the ' Labcenter Electronics' file and delete the file.
